The road to your purpose or destiny often involves detours. You swing from left to right and sometimes lose your way completely. At these moments it is the breadcrumbs, the so-called omens, that give me something to hold on to. They appear subtly in different shapes and situations. Not just to keep you on your path, but also to confirm that what you are doing is right and that it will lead you to where you ultimately need to go, without clinging too much to that final destination. What matters is that you keep moving and not sticking rigidly to what you had in mind. It was initially the idea that I would set up a clothing line made of hemp together with a friend, but our feelings eventually shifted so we decided to let go of this idea together. Not an easy choice, but the best for both of us. After this decision, the energy could flow freely again. ‘Trust your gut’ is the most important message here. And that’s why I think it’s so important that we get better at it. I practice this by organising small ceremonies for myself, breathing consciously, taking rest, going out into nature and eating foods that actually nourish my body. As a result, your heart will increasingly come to the forefront and your feelings will speak louder and louder.
